This program is designed for two- and three-year-olds. Emphasis is placed on Practical Life and Sensorial activities and experiences. Children learn care of oneself, care of the environment, acceptable social interactions, and control of movement. Verbal language skills and physical skills are highlighted.
Students may be enrolled for two, three, or five mornings per week. The two-day option is Monday and Tuesday; three-day option is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Morning classes are held from 8:15–11:15 A.M. Early Arrival is available if the child is toilet-trained. Since we are considered a school by the State of Indiana, toddlers are not eligible for the All-Day Program (i.e., toddlers may not be in school for more than four hours). A ratio of six to seven students per teacher is maintained.
